How much does the insurance cost per month?<\/h2>\n

While price is only one factor and isn’t even the most important one, it has to be considered. No matter how good of a fit a policy is, if you can’t afford to pay for it, it won’t do you much good. <\/p>\n

What is the deductible?<\/h3>\n

These days, high deductible policies are all the rage, but if your deductible is so high you never get any coverage, the plan won’t be much of a benefit. <\/p>\n

Is my doctor in-network?<\/h3>\n

Every plan has a network of providers. Not every doctor is in every network, and if you have a doctor you prefer to use, they must be in the network. Especially if they are your primary care physician,  they will have a lot of input into your healthcare. <\/p>\n

Does the policy have drug coverage?<\/h3>\n

If you take prescription drugs, you need to know that your health insurance provides prescription coverage. The drugs are listed in a formulary in tiers. Each tier has a copay, and some also have a deductible. Not every drug is included, and in some cases, you will be required to use a generic rather than the brand name. <\/p>\n
